It's a done deal!
Late december we send our application for my permanent residency to immigration (2 years after my Spouse Visa was granted). Basically giving them extra evidence and declarations about our relationship. Because of all the paperwork they reckon it takes between 6 & 9 months to get it granted or declined. Which meant I would be on a "bridging visa" between my current and new visa. But we were pleasantly suprised when we had a look online to read that on the 1st of Feb my Permanent Residency was GRANTED!

New addition to our family!
A couple of weeks after we moved to our new house we got some furniture delivered
and unfortunately with all the people walking in and out our beautiful cat
Crash (Pictured on the right) ran away never to be found again (believe me... we tried!). We just hope
that she has found a good home somewhere with people who love her as much as we
did! Ashes has been on her own since then. But with both of us working full
time we felt that she might be a bit lonely. So with help from Lisa (Neil's
sister who is a vet) we got the phone call that they found a kitten who would
fit into our little family quite well!
We would like to introduce our beautiful boy "Domino":
He has a spunky character and is very active, he especially loves to attack and bite everything that moves… mostly our toes, fingers and ashes her tail… Ashes is not his biggest fan yet but we’re confident that they will become friends.

Our pride
As most of you know we bought and moved into our new house last year. We've put up some photos for those who haven't seen it yet (yes, we are very proud of it and love to show it off... hee hee).
Love,
Ivette and Neil
